
Ceili “Kaylee” . . .
Started Eastern Shore Pet Care after moving to Easton, MD from Charlotte, NC in 2006. Ceili’s family has lived on the eastern shore of Maryland for many years. She wanted to have her own business and still work with all the animals she loves. She a Professional Pet Sitter working in pet care and training; and is further working on several new certifications offered by National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and Pet Sitters International (PSI).
Personal Information:
- Ceili is a 32 year old college graduate who loves working with all animals large and small. She has loved animals all her life. She loves Riding her horse, Dawn and spending time with her two dogs, Sadie (a very kind Golden Retriever Mix) and Zuzu (a very Lively Jack Russell Terrier). She currently lives in Easton, MD.
Education and Experience:
- In 2007 Ceili worked as a Veterinary Technician along side a large animal doctor on the road, as well as experience working in a clinic setting with dogs, cats and other small animals.
- Ceili has a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in “Equine Science & Training” from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. Delaware Valley College is rated one of the best Agricultural Schools in the US.
- Ceili went to Oldfields School, a private boarding school, in Glencoe, MD where she had shown Hunters on the "A" circuit in Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware all through high school. Ceili still enjoys riding Hunters and Dressage.
- In 2001 Ceili worked at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in Ringoes, NJ. MAEMC is a very well respected emergency equine medical facility in the North East.
- Ceili lived in The Netherlands (Holland) for 12 years, where she was lucky enough to work with Alexa Bell, a Canadian horse trainer who was located in Holland in 1990. There she worked with Dutch Warmbloods, riding Jumpers and Dressage. “This was truly a great experience.”
- Ceili worked at St. Timothy’s School, a private boarding school in Stevenson, MD, where she had the privilege of teaching Hunt Seat (English riding) to beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. She worked with ‘Libby’ Southall– Director of the riding program. Ceili taught several riding skills classes and worked with the children on there showing and technical riding skills.
- While at Delaware Valley College, Ceili Studied under Dr. Fredrick Hofsaess -Professor of Animal Science, Audrey Bostwick, and Jane Corey.
Dr. Fredrick Hofsaess, Professor of Animal Science, graduated from Delaware Valley College with a B.S. in Animal Husbandry in 1967. He received his M.S. in 1969 and Ph.D. in 1970 in Animal Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Since joining Delaware Valley College in 1970, he has been involved in teaching meat animal courses and equine production courses. He manages the equine standardbred facility. He is a member of the American Society of Animal Science, United States Trotting Association, New Jersey Standardbred Owners and Breeders Association and Pennsylvania Harness Horseman Association.”

Ceili studied “Driving the Single Horse” and “Intermediate Driving” under Audrey Bostwick, who “is a founding member of the American Driving Society. She is a former Vice President of the organization and currently serves as a member of the ADS Licensed Officials Committee and the Hoopes-Addis Education Trust. She is a former member of the USEF Driving Committee. Audrey has held her Pleasure Driving Judge and Technical Delegate licenses since 1974 and is also licensed by USEF. She also has been a licensed side-saddle judge and instructor for 20 years. In the competitive aspect of driving, Audrey has successfully shown at Devon, The Royal Winter Fair, Walnut Hill and The Canadian Classic. At present, she is competing her new pair of Welsh ponies. Previously, she and Rebecca Merritt were successful at Spring Gladstone CDE, The Devon Horse Show, the Walnut Hill Pleasure Driving Show, and the Canadian Classic. In 1998 her pony pair was North American Reserve Champion and in 2000 they were the North American Champion. - Ceili has many years experience Driving the Single Horse, as well as, Pairs Driving. She likes working at horse shows as secretary, announcer, etc. She worked with the Chesapeake Carriage Company in 1998 to 2001.
- Ceili has experience working at a Standardbred Breeding Farm in PA. Where she has experienced several births and worked organizing feeding and work schedules. She has worked full time with stallions (Christmas List and Perpetuity) and over 25 broodmares.
