Ceili "Kaylee" . . .
Started Eastern Shore Pet Care after moving to Easton, MD from Charlotte,
NC in 2006. Ceili's family has lived on the eastern shore of Maryland for many years. She wanted to have her own business
and still work with all the animals she loves. She is a professional Pet Sitter working in pet care and training; and is further
working on several new certifications offered by National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and Pet Sitters
International (PSI).
Personal Information:
- Ceili is a 33 year old college graduate who loves working with all animals large and
small. She has loved animals all her life. She loves Riding her horse and spending time with her two dogs, Zuzu (a very lively
Jack Russell Terrier) and Sadie (a very kind Golden Retriever Mix).
Education and Experiences:
- In 2007 Ceili worked as a Veterinary Technician along slide a large animal
doctor on the road, as well as experience working in a clinic setting with dogs and other small animals.
- Ceili has a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Equine
Science & Training from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. Delaware Valley College is rated one of the best Agricultural
Schools in the US.
- Ceili
went to Oldfields School, a private boarding school in Glencoe, MD, where she has shown Hunters on the "A" circuit
in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Ceili still enjoys riding Hunters and Dressage.
- In 2001, Ceili worked at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in Ringoes, New Jersey. MAEMC is a very well respected
emergency equine medical facility in the northeast.
- Ceili lived in
The Netherlands (Holland) for 12 years, where she was lucky enough to ride and work with Alexa Bell, a Canadian horse trainer
who was located in holland in 1990. There Ceili worked with Dutch Warmbloods, riding Jumpers and Dressage. "This was
truely a great experience."
- Ceili worked at St. Timothy's School, a private boarding
school in Steveson, MD, whereshe had the privilege of teaching English Riding to beginer, intermediate and advanced riders.
She worked with "Libby" Southall - Director of the riding program. Ceili taught several riding skills classes and
worked with the children on their showing and technical skills.
- While a Delaware
Valley College, Ceili studied under Dr. Hoffsaess - Head of Animal Science Department, Audrey Bostwick, and Jane Corey.
"Dr. F. Hoffsaess, Professor of Animal Science, graduated from Delaware Valley
College with a B.S. in Animal Husbandry in 1967. He received his Masters in 1969 and Ph.D in 1970 in Animal Science from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University."
